ภาควิชาธรณีวิทยาต้อนรับคณะวิจัยจากจีน เข้าร่วมการศึกษาภาคสนามในเขตพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ

       เมื่อวันที่ 16-25 ธันวาคม 2568 ภาควิชาธรณีวิทยา คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้วิจัยและนักศึกษาจากสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน นำโดย Professor Dr. Tao SU จาก Chengdu University of Technology และ Associate Professor Dr. Jian HUANG จาก Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), Chinese Academy of Sciences ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเยือนและลงพื้นที่ศึกษาวิจัยภาคสนามร่วมกันในเขตพื้นที่ภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย  สานต่อความร่วมมือด้านวิจัยระดับนานาชาติ 

Professor Dr. Tao SU from Chengdu University of Technology, Associate Professor Dr. Jian HUANG from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences and their students visit the Department of Geological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Thailand and join fieldwork in Northern Thailand during 16-25 December 2025. 

This visit and joint fieldwork are to carry out the tasks of the National Natural Science Foundation of China general project led by Dr. Jian Huang titled “Cenozoic plant diversity in northern Thailand and its response to environmental changes” (No. 42472033). Meanwhile, Miss Napussawan Thongsangtum, Student ID: 2023A8012851008, a PhD student of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), Chinese Academy of Sciences, is doing her research titled “Two Cenozoic floras from northern Thailand and their paleoclimate implications” based on these fossil sites. Her supervisor is Professor Dr. Tao Su from Chengdu University of Technology, Chengdu, China, co-supervisors are Associate Professor Dr. Jian Huang from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Assistant Professor Dr. Yupa Thasod from Department of Geological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University.
